The post have resolved our problem, thank you very much and hope you writting more good articles.
ABSTRACT DCVG survey is a method of measuring the electrical voltage gradient in the soil along and around the pipeline to locate coating holidays, categorize its relative severity once it is found and indicate the effectiveness of cathodic protection system.
This means that as coating defect size changes, the percent-IR indication changes by the exact same incremental value regardless of what soil resistivity that the system is at. This result shows that percent-IR can also be better prioritized by taking soil resistivity into account.
I just want to mention I’m new to blogs and honestly enjoyed your blog. Probably I’m want to bookmark your site . You certainly have really good writings. Kudos for sharing with us your web site.
This paper sheds light on the challenges in drawing conclusions in the assessment of corrosion from DCVG inspection data and other types of data that form key inputs to ECDA.
At the laying of new pipelines it is recommended to carry out a DCVG Survey immediately after the pipe laying so that the contractor could repair the possible coating defects still under guarantee.
